Artist in Residence
Painting commercially since 1985, Heather has sold her paintings throughout Australia and overseas. Heather is influenced by the natural environment and has a particular passion for Australian wildlife which is evident in her Animals with Attitude series, available in cards and prints. Her contemporary and prescriptive works are lively and vibrant. Largely the painting style has evolved through self experimentation. More recent works explore the musicality of the environment and the disordered order within the natural world. You can find Heather's paintings,cards, prints and art furniture on the Main Gallery Floor. Sometimes you will also find her in action painting at the Gallery.

Exhibition Space Available
The upstairs 'Artists Gallery' is available for Short Term lease arrangement for solo and group rotating exhibitions, including workshops and artists talks. Long Term exhibition space is also available within the Main Gallery Floor. The Workshop Studio can be rented for Workshops/Events/Seminars/Functions on a daily rate (ie art, film, writing, vocal, performance or other creative endeavour with both children and adults.) This includes provision of trestle tables, easels & some catering including tea/coffee, morning teas/lunches if required.

The winners of the Wootha Prize will be showcased on the Main Gallery Floor. If you didn’t make it to the Wood Expo it is not too late to see them!

Heather finds unique pieces of old furniture and paints them with originality to match the essence and character of the piece.

Please join us for drinks and nibbles at the Tree Frog Gallery at 2pm, Saturday 12 May, to meet with Marty at the launch of this stunning exhibition of local and other scenes. The exhbition features from 10 May- 11 June. Gallery hours 10am-4pm, Thursdays to Mondays.
